We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Clifton, Karachi. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience who are eager to develop their accounting skills while supporting essential office functions. The role provides valuable hands-on experience in financial operations and contributes to the smooth running of daily office activities.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations:
Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including reconciliations and journal entries. Maintain accurate financial records to support ongoing company operations.
Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in preparing financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and budgets. Support basic cost analysis activities such as preparing cost sheets and product costing.
Compliance:
Ensure all financial transactions adhere to relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
Office & Administrative Support:
Perform office assistant duties by handling various indoor and outdoor tasks, including banking and procurement support.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Knowledge:
A solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
Attributes:
High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with preparing cost sheets and conducting profitability analysis. Basic knowledge of taxation laws and compliance requirements.
Compensation & Location:
Monthly salary for fresh graduates (0-1 year experience): Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 40,000
Monthly salary for candidates with 1-2+ years of experience: Rs. 40,000 - Rs. 50,000
