Junior IT Manager

CHI Technologies, a recognized leader in healthcare technology solutions, is looking for a motivated Junior IT Manager to join their Islamabad-based team on-site. This role plays a vital part in supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, and compliance efforts within a fast-paced environment focused on enhancing patient care and clinical efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and supporting servers, networks, firewalls, and VPN configurations to ensure seamless IT infrastructure operations. Monitor system performance regularly and escalate issues promptly to maintain optimal functionality. Support the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT devices across the organization. Continuously monitor security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall logs to detect potential threats, and assist in analyzing alerts to distinguish false positives. Participate actively in incident response activities while maintaining detailed documentation. Help ensure compliance with IT and security policies, especially those related to ISO 27001 and HIPAA standards. Support audit preparations by gathering necessary evidence and maintaining compliance documentation. Conduct routine vulnerability scans, track remediation efforts, and assist with risk reporting. Manage user accounts including creation, permission reviews, and enforcing multi-factor authentication, while applying least-privilege access principles. Assist with regular backup operations, integrity checks, and contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets, licenses, and tools, and coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed. Support the delivery of IT and cybersecurity awareness training and promote best practices throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications
A solid understanding of networking concepts, server management, and operating systems is essential. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices is required. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and HIPAA is important. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are necessary to resolve technical issues efficiently. Effective communication and documentation skills are needed to support collaboration and reporting. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop expertise in IT and security domains is highly valued.
