"The Project for Improvement of Livelihoods and Well-being of Female Home Based Workers in the Informal Economic Sector in Sindh Province” aims at developing a comprehensive package to uplift the livelihoods and well-being of Female Home Based Workers and their families. The package has four components including life skill management, income generation, financial access and promotion of female formal employment. The Project is seeking a candidate who fill the following post as Project Coordinator for activities at Women Development .Foundation Pakistan (WDFP)
Roles and responsibilities
Coordination with counterpart officials of WDD, JICA Project team and any other organizations related to project management and implementation.
Monitoring project activities at WDFP and providing necessary assistance as well as coordination for smooth implementation.
Coordination and support for holding official meetings of the Project including monthly coordination meetings at Pilot Project Coordination Committee (PPCC).
Assisting WDD and PPCC to compile monitoring sheets of the Project.
Attending meetings, collecting information and negotiating with relevant individuals and organizations required for project implementation.
Make necessary reports to share among the Project team members
Interpretation and translation of local language into English, when necessary.
Accounting work for the Project activities mainly at WDFP. The project coordinator will perform accounting work according to the rules prescribed by JICA and the Project team.
Procurement of equipment and services required for the Project activities mainly at WDFP
Coordination and logistic arrangement including meeting appointments, preparation of meetings, workshops, drafting letters and so on.
Keep updating security information in and around the community centers of WDFP in Karachi to share among the Project team members
Maintain equipment, materials, offices and documents in good order
Any other tasks the Employer consider necessary for the Project implementation
