Kaizen Builders is seeking a skilled Architect with at least three years of professional experience to join our dynamic team in Lahore. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong expertise in architectural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings, with a proven ability to efficiently coordinate on-site activities and execute projects professionally. This role demands creativity and excellent design visualization skills to manage commercial and interior projects effectively. Familiarity with both design and construction phases is essential to ensure project objectives are met while adhering to quality and safety standards.
The Architect is responsible for delivering detailed architectural plans and collaborating closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements. Proficiency in key software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and rendering tools like V-Ray or Lumion is mandatory to produce high-quality 3D visualizations and construction documentation. Candidates located in Lahore or willing to relocate are encouraged to apply. Although team management is not required for this role, the Architect must possess strong communication and coordination abilities to contribute effectively within project teams and with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive architectural drawings, including shop drawings and as-built drawings, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to design standards.
- Coordinate site activities and support project execution by liaising with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
- Produce detailed construction documentation and design presentations using industry-standard software tools to facilitate clear communication across project phases.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project needs and translate these into creative, functional, and sustainable design solutions for commercial and interior projects.
- Utilize 3D modeling and visualization software to create realistic renderings that enhance client presentations and support design decisions.
- Manage project details such as cost estimation, material selection, and space planning to align designs with budgetary and functional constraints.
- Apply knowledge of sustainable design principles to integrate environmentally responsible solutions into architectural projects.
- Supervise and coordinate site work activities when required to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare bills of quantities (BOQs) and demonstrate a thorough understanding of construction materials to support procurement and project planning.
- Continuously update skills in relevant software including AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), Photoshop, and MS Office, to maintain a high level of technical competency.
