Kaizen Paints is seeking a diligent ACMA Trainee Officer to join the finance team and support the accounting and auditing functions. This entry-level position is ideal for a candidate with foundational knowledge in accounting principles, cost accounting, and auditing practices who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment. The selected individual will assist with the preparation and analysis of financial documents, support cost accounting activities, and contribute to the auditing processes under supervision. The position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining accuracy in all financial records. This role is based in Lahore and requires commuting to the company's office in DHA Phase V during regular business hours from Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports following established accounting standards.
  • Support cost accounting activities by collecting and analyzing relevant data to help assess production costs and profitability.
  • Contribute to internal and external audit procedures by preparing necessary documentation and assisting auditors with information requests.
  • Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions and reconciling account balances.
  • Help monitor and control expenditures to ensure compliance with budgets and financial plans.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to accounting and financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate input of information.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary financial data and support cross-functional financial activities.
  • Follow up on discrepancies and ensure resolution of any inconsistencies found during account reconciliations.
  • Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of schedules and reports.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and documentation.
  • Continuously update knowledge of accounting standards, cost accounting techniques, and auditing practices to improve job performance.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and punctuality by adhering to the work schedule from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and sensitive company data.
