Kanji Advisory (KA) is a private limited company registered with SECP with its head office in Islamabad. KA is setting up it's office in Bahawalpur, however initially it will be based in either Chishtian or Haroonabad.
KA's sponsors have incorporated Market Link Private Limited to offer a digital agriculture value chain for the smallholder farmers as an option to the traditional agriculture value chain. The new value chain would address the key barriers to income growth for the small farmers.
Job Description:
1. Be a point of contact and coordination between the Kanji Advisory head office and the LSOs.
2. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local support organisations (LSO) and farmer village organisations.
3. Coordinate with regional and Tehsil level offices and warehouses of corporate partners including agriculture input companies, financial institutions and warehouse owners.
4. Lead the field team in developing and operationalising farmer village organisations.
5. Coordinate with the office in Islamabad to design and implement institution building measures for the collaborating LSOs.
6. Train and lead the field team to work closely with the governance and management structures of the LSOs to ormulate and implement proper financial and organizational policies and procedures.
7. Assist the LSOs to get themselves registered under the legal framework provided by SECP or any other appropriate and effective legal structure.
8. Participating in strategy design and client management.
9. Regular reporting to the Head Office on implementation of the field work plans.
10. Managing Kanji Advisory’s branch offices in Haroonabad, Chishtian and Bahawalpur.
11. Working closely with farmer groups and LSOs to implement the new agriculture value chain for the small farmers. This would be done with the objective of ensuring order placement, payment and delivery is accurate and on-time and learning on how to improve on the supply chain design.
12. Any other task as required from time to time.
