- Able to perform startup and shutdown of compressors, engines, pumps and auxiliary equipments.
- Monitor equipment functioning, observe recording instruments, gauges, flow meters and other indicators, and listen for warning signals, abnormal noises to verify conformity of process conditions.
- Record instrument readings and operational changes in operating log.
- Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment.
- Adjust valves and equipment to obtain specified performance.
- Able to work well in a team environment, and to communicate (verbal & written) and understand instructions efficiently.
- Remove and replace filters oil, chemicals and other lubricating fluids.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist maintenance staff in performing maintenance and repair.
- Inspect compressors to determine adjustments or repairs needed.
- Keep up-to-date technically and apply technical skills at your job.
