A USA Based Software house need Senior PHP Developer as Team Lead. The PHP Web Developer is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of the existing developed web application & new development solution to the agreed quality, performance, and available standards
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, build and maintain the User Interface for displaying information to support the data protection
- Design and develop base and additional core functionalities related to the User Interface
- Perform end-to end testing (across the full solution stack as necessary) prior to releasing to testers
- Design, develop and implement of the communications and security protocols for data transfer
- Design and develop Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and integrate with existing external REST APIs to extend functionality and/or integrate with third party software
- Assist with design, development, and maintenance of the existing web application
- Develop optimised code using relevant technologies in accordance with best practices
- Software debugging and fault resolution by using tools to identify the issues and appropriate documentation.
- Conduct & participate in code reviews as required to ensure code quality during development.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and standards, as they are introduced, are adhered to at all times
Key Requirements:
- Languages - PHP, HTML, CSS, including PHP frameworks such as Yii, Laravel, Symfony, etc
- JavaScript frameworks & libraries (jQuery, AJAX, NodeJS, Vue.js, ReactJS or AngularJS
- Linux (Ubuntu preferred)
Must have extensive hands-on experience in:
- Relevant professional web application development experience using various technology stacks
- Experience in PHP development using PHP frameworks (preferably Yii1,2 & Laravel)
- Extensive front-end experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, tools, and libraries
- Experience in developing and integrating with web services and (REST) APIs
- Experience in Wordpress & OpenCart & Magento (highly preferable)
- Experience with relational database system design and implementation
- A solid understanding of web application security best practices including session management, authentication methods
- Experience working in a Linux environment and comfortable doing everyday tasks in Linux
- Experience with code source management/version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques
