Karwan-e-Hayat is a non-profit welfare organization established in 1983 and registered under the 1984 Companies’ Ordinance. It is certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy and also an ISO certified company. KeH has worked diligently ever since its inception in providing treatment and rehabilitation services to poor and underprivileged mentally ill patients. It is the only NGO which provides heavily subsidized OPD and inpatient facilities. The organization has three centers in Karachi, namely PCRC, KCPC and Jami. The advert position is for its PCRC Center.

Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the Quality Assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations services and/or development processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and trains quality assurance staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
  • Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
  • Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
  • Coordinates services testing processes.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
  • Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.Manage and maintain databases for the Quality management system.
  • Liaison with the department and Work on ISO 9001:2015 Certifications of the clinical and administrative department.
  • Liaison with the department and Prepare for Sindh health care commission round.
  • Conduct Training on IPSG Goals, Patient File documentation, and its importance to consultants, residents, and the nursing staff.
  • Conduct and prepare internal audits, internal audit reports, and quality trending reports.
  • Report the status of the quality levels of staff, systems, and production activities.
  • Reporting quality events, incidents, queries, and complaints.
  • Keep up to date with all related quality legislation and compliance issues.
  • Utilize guidance documents, international standards, or consensus standards and interpret for guidance.
  • Communicate any critical compliance risks noted from these activities to senior management
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
