Role for the position:

The key role of learning and development manager is to lead Kashf Training and Development Function in order to meet Organizational current and future capacity building and Cultural Integration requirements. Learning and development manager is responsible for the design and delivery of customized training programmes across the organization starting from initial inductions to the senior executives.

Major Responsibilities:

Overall responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of the organizational goals to effectively create a training strategy
  • Gain a full working knowledge of each business unit to work alongside leaders to design effective training programmes
  • Responsible for talent management process
  • Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
  • Manage the development of the Training team from a training perspective
  • Build relationships with external training suppliers
  • Manage the training budget for the organization and source cost-effective solutions
  • Assess the success of Training & development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities

Training Need Assessment:

  • Should be able to Identify and assess future and current training needs of the organization
  • Identify specific capacity building requirements and define the skills needed for both field and Head Office staff
  • Ability to Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
  • Ability to assess the leadership gaps at managerial positions both (field & head office) to devise development

Training Design and Development:

  • Responsible to devise organizational training strategy through development of customize training programs keeping in view the requirements
  • Design specific Position wise and Region wise training and development plans that address needs and expectations of specific position and regions
  • Review of training processes and procedures and clear understanding of process flow within the Organization
  • Research new training materials and programs that enhance Kashf training procedures and enhance Cultural Cohesiveness and integration across Kashf
  • Develop orientation modules for new joiners and promoted staff as well as planning policy refreshers for existing staff.
  • Responsible to develop and design customize training programs that cover the leadership gaps for Internal BMs/AMs and ARMs

Implementation of Training Plans:

  • Responsible to implement the planned training and development programs across the network
  • Responsible to lead, supervise, facilitate and monitor training workshops with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams across Kashf
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
  • Ability to design and manage training budget for the Organization

Impact Assessment:

  • Should be able to monitor the outcomes of the training by developing a mechanism that reflects expected outcomes as a result of the delivered training program
  • Responsible for Strategic planning and creating monitoring and evaluation arrangements
  • Ensure that an effective and efficient system is in place for training follow-ups and certifications
