Credit Controller - About the Role

As a Credit Controller, you would be tasked with contacting clients and ensuring the Credit Control function is managed efficiently and accurately. As one of the Credit Controllers, you will be working closely in a team and be responsible for the smooth running of the Credit Control function. Being an experienced Credit Controller, you already know what's expected from you on a day to day basis.

The ideal candidate for a Credit Controller:

Experience using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook and CRM
Supporting the preparation of month-end tasks and delivery of reports
Support the continued improvement of our credit control function
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation skills, assertive and respectful
The ability to effectively priorities in a busy environment

Key responsibilities:

Credit Control for all UK Customers
Full responsibility for your ledger, from initial enquiry to invoices being paid
Updating the database accordingly
Setting up of new accounts along with daily account maintenance
Issuing month end statements
Liaising with account managers to resolve late payments

Credit Controller Experience:

2+ years' experience within a credit control function;
High level of proficiency in Excel;
Previous experience of any accounting software essential;
Good attention to detail whilst maintaining ability to work under time pressure;
Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers
