About the Job:
As a SDET you will have an amazing opportunity to play an important role by working in close proximity with Software Developers, Product, and Support teams in defining business-centric WhiteBox/GreyBox tests, develop CI and CD infrastructure, and enable the development teams in delivering high quality product . We are looking for candidates with a CS/SE background, with experience of performing test automation on web application with an emphasis on Web Front-End development, a keen eye for details, and who are natural team players.
Responsibilities:
- Work to undertand how the KT applications work internally and how they interact, use this knowledge to automate the most value adding scenarios
- Creating and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks
- Document, track, and communicate test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems to management
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in application functions, outputs, screens, and content
- Develope CI and CD infrastructure and maintain it
- Enhancing and maintaining Automated Regression and Smoke Tests
- Enhancing and maintaining multiple Test Suites
- Help improve our KeepTruckin products in quality and usability
- Become a key part of QA team in testing our KeepTruckin ELD (Electronic Logging Device, an in-vehicle data acquisition system) and non-ELD integrated web applications
- Taking ownership of personal development and skill enhancement
- Collaborate with KeepTruckin software and embedded systems development teams
- Be able to work as part of a small, highly-motivated, tightly-knit team - using Agile Testing Methodologies
- Take ownership of E2E testing
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience in Software Test Automation
- Keen eye for attention to details
- Flare for testing location/maps based real time systems
- Ability to take ownership of all Automated testing tasks
- Ability to understand Software Design Specifications
- Knowledge of OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms
- Hands on experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, Jasmine/QUnit or any XUnit based testing framework
- Hands on experience with POMs Page Object Model is a must
- Hands on experience with Protractor testing framework is plus
- Interest in commercial vehicles such as large trucks is a big plus!
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
