We are looking for a skilled Finance Officer who has worked in any School and who will take charge of the financial and accounting operations of the company.
Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.
Ultimately, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage and further develop all aspects of the school’s day-to-day financial operations.
- Evaluating information to prepare a realistic and balanced budget for the school and forecast annual budgets.
- Maintain accurate financial data, including accurate monthly financial statements.
- Preparing written monthly financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing of tuition and collection of fees.
- Ensure all budgets remain up-to-date and accurate.
- Oversight of all tax-related tasks, including statutory tax returns, company returns, tax rate check, etc.
- Ensure that the accounting and financial system is set to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and required standards.
- Assist in required audit/compliance matters as needed.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of experience as a Finance Officer in any School.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
- Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business, or finance.
