The Position holder should follow production plan, monitor operations and production, enforce quality, inspect material, and report to the higher management.
- Adhere to production plans and implement it accordingly.
- Monitor operations to ensure that they meet internal and external quality standards.
- Enforce the quality standard and informed the line manager for any unremoved / removed discrepancies.
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
- Accept or reject the raw material, intermediate process material and final product if they differ from the laid down standards.
- Provide written report to the higher management regarding sub-standards products and materials.
- Provide written report of inspection results to the higher management.
- Ensure traceability of raw material/additives of the final products vis-a-vis supplier, operator and shift incharge.
