Exciting Opportunity: Dispatch Manager Position with Growth Potential
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Dispatch Manager to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the transportation industry and looking to develop a career in logistics.
- As our Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for a range of critical duties, including:
- Onboarding new truckers using recommended channels to expand our pool of reliable drivers.
- Researching and identifying profitable gross loads by analyzing market trends and negotiating with brokers on behalf of our truck drivers.
- Assigning loads to drivers while ensuring all relevant paperwork is accurately completed, including Rate Confirmations, Proof of Delivery (POD), and Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Signing up with brokers when necessary and handling factoring company matters as required.
- The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Additionally, previous experience in the transportation industry and familiarity with logistics software is preferred.
- 12+ months of experience in USA truck dispatch
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Load Boards
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with federal and state transportation regulations
- Bachelor's degree preferred
