A leading ladies apparel brand required an outsource merchandiser with following job responsibilities:
- Collecting of garment samples, trims and different type of swatches from the vendors.
- Planning for new season sampling and production orders.
- Analyze the product demand yearly, quarterly, monthly and seasonally.
- Develop the purchase strategies.
- Search new vendor and maintain relationship with exisiting vendors.
- Responsible for all dealings related to pricing, payment terms and conditions, payments scheduling, products availability time period, products quality, samples and adjustment of rejected products.
- Search new products from market, web, and vendors on market trends.
- Preparing purchase order.
- Coordinating as well as following up with the production is expected from you.
- Costing and negotiation with trim and accessory suppliers.
- Constant update and interaction with the supplies is needed.
- Follow up to warehouse for stock receiving and stock return.
- Maintain all records, documents, product catalogues, price lists and other related forms.
- On time reporting to management
- Travels required.
