We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our plant equipment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and operational guidelines. This role is essential in maintaining optimal performance and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain plant machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Monitor gauges, meters, and control systems to ensure operational parameters are within specified limits.
- Respond to and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Record and report operational data, including production rates, equipment performance, and any incidents.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
- Assist in the implementation of plant improvement projects and participate in training programs.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in a Relevant Field or technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of plant operations, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using monitoring and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
- Must be able to lift to and stand/walk for extended periods.
