Job Description
We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer, to write server-side web application logic.This role consists of developing back-end components, connecting the application withother web services, and supporting front-end developers by integrating their work with theapplication.
Job Specification
Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholder to design, build and test key business platform features
- Drive root cause investigation of problems and work on Service improvement
- Work with agile developer processes and tools
- Provide business understanding to the other members of the team and share knowledge/experiences.
- Liaise with various business units to understand their pain points and work with internal teams to drive improvements
- Liaise with vendors for incident/problem remediationDefine phasing, milestones and budget of implementation.
Key Criteria:
Successful candidates will have:
- Strong problem determination skills
- An ability to work unsupervised on several issues concurrently whilst also supervising others
- Problem and change management practice experienceExcellent documentation skills/ technical.
