Knox Solar Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Lab Head to lead and oversee the daily operations of the laboratory specializing in inverter repairing and power electronics troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands-on experience in electronics and inverter repair, demonstrating strong expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. In this leadership role, the Lab Head manages a team of 15 professionals, fostering a productive and collaborative environment to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
The Lab Head is responsible for setting strategic goals aligned with company objectives and ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols within the lab. This role demands strong team leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide technical staff, while also actively contributing to the development and improvement of laboratory processes. A deep technical knowledge of power electronics and electronics device repair is essential to drive innovation and operational excellence in this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 15 laboratory technicians and engineers to achieve departmental goals effectively.
- Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of inverters and other electronic devices, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Develop, implement, and monitor laboratory procedures and safety standards to comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and prioritize repair tasks and workflow to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to support product development and testing activities.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to power electronics and inverter systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repair processes, test results, and equipment maintenance.
- Stay updated with advancements in power electronics and inverter technologies to introduce innovative solutions.
- Manage lab resources, including tools, equipment, and inventory, to optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports on lab activities, team performance, and project status for senior management.
