Job Responsibilities:
- Developing & maintaining excellent business relationships with Key Suppliers, Logistics, Operations, Engineering Team & Management·
- Formulating and implementing key strategies for the purchase of materials from global sources and achieving cost reduction in procurement activities·
- Invite tenders, consult with suppliers and review quotations·
- Delivering quality materials at the right time, best price and most suitable terms and conditions, devising efficient logistics management system to ensure on time delivery of goods·
- Evaluating vendor performance for ensuring adherence to predefined specifications & supply of quality materials / execution of works·
- Finalizing Purchase Orders with best suitable specifications of materials and establishing limits for effective inventory control & reducing wastages·
- Coordinating with Operations, Engineering Department & Management to identify, qualify and dedicate external/internal sources or/and manufacturing facilities, implement/advice annual strategies Line with Company Policies and procedures.·
- To plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the purchasing coordinators, warehouse and site stores staff and related works involved in purchasing materials, products and services.·
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of procurement procedures, Policies, manuals and work instructions etc.·
- Monitor the pre-qualification process for subcontractors.
- Evaluation of vendors / subcontractor RFQ when required .
- Review / Audit Purchase Orders and Subcontracts to ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures.
