Role and Responsibilities
- You must have expertise in testing core banking systems such as T24 and others.
- You must have experience of testing channels like IVR , Internet Banking , Phone Banking. Preference is given to those who have tested multiple systems locally and internationally.
- Have done testing of web services for various modules of online banking like authentication, payment transfers, bill payments, stop payments, check images, e-statements, etc.
- Be able to manage small to mid-level QA project lifecycles
- Test Web Services components using Soap UI
- Develop test cases for web services, backend integrations and workflows as needed.
- Execute existing battery of functional test cases for UOB.
- Execute developed test cases for web services, backend integrations and workflows.
- Support team members in functional testing planning and execution
- Support team members in Defect Identification & Reporting
- Support team members in testing mobile apps across various devices
KEY SKILLS
SPECIALIZATION
- Must have a college education with an under graduate or post graduate degree.
- 2-4 years of experience of in Software Testing
- Experience with Banks is a must.
- Sound knowledge of software engineering skills and practices
- Understanding of testing strategies and techniques
- Understanding of programming concepts
- Be able to provide quality advice to Development team
- Self-motivated, having a passion for learning
- Be able to train other resources.
- Exposure to Automation testing techniques and tools is a plus
GENERAL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present and interact with different stakeholders in global settings
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Be able to train other resources.
- Willingness to travel to Middle East
