Job Description:
A textile (fabrics) company wants a Fabric Store Incharge for its warehouse. Prior experience in textile sector will be preferred.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Manage all Fabric Department related activities.
Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit of same to verify results.
Ensure working in compliance with warehouse policies & procedures and ensure no function is being performed out of these guide lines.
Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
Properly Liaise technicians, equipment issuing staff and personnel.
Supervision of all staff under the direct or indirect control.
Ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently.
Coordinate efficient operation of the relevant Deparment.
Plan and coordinate for labor requirements.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
Receiving and issuing Fabric for packing as per Marketing Department.
Stocking of Fabric lot wise.
