Role and Responsibilities
As a Financial Consultant in Lanop you will be helping out clients in UK who are outsourcing their finance function to us. This job would allow you to not only help clients with the management of their company’s finances but also to help them strategize for growth and optimize their business activities.
You will be primarily involved in providing these services to clients:
- Help with management accounts interpretation and insights.
- Budgeting and forecasting business plans
- Industry analysis and economic forecasts
- Lending Strategies and Capital Structuring
- Designing and implementing financial controls to optimize cash flows and profitability
- Help with client queries and generating ad hoc reports
- Help with raising business finance
- Conducting risk analysis for financial plans
- Forecasting costs and revenues
- Manage current and future tax payments
- Monitor financial procedures and compliance with the laws
- Review day to day transactions to identify the areas of improvement
- Turnaround struggling companies by reorganizing their assets and liabilities
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Masters with concentration in finance
- Experience of 3+ years in finance and business consultancy function with international and local clients
- Chartered financial analyst (CFA) with these qualifications would be an added advantage
Preferred Skills and Requirements
- Microsoft Office with special emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Power BI
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Client management skills
- Knack for problem solving
- Good knowledge of fiscal policies
- Excellent analytical skills, along with the ability to create detailed reports and spreadsheets
- Hands on experience with accounting software’s such as XERO, TaxCalc and QuickBooks would be an added advantage
