The Assistant Manager IT at Lazienda Denim plays a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for managing servers, local and wide-area networks, VoIP systems, hardware, and software to ensure consistent and reliable performance with a 99% uptime target. The role includes overseeing advanced CCTV and surveillance operations, including configuring DVRs/NVRs and IP cameras, as well as implementing AI-based video analytics to enhance security measures. Responsibilities
- Maintain IT infrastructure including servers, LAN/WAN networks, VoIP, hardware, and software systems to achieve at least 99% uptime and operational efficiency.
- Manage comprehensive CCTV and surveillance systems, encompassing DVR/NVR configuration and IP camera setups, ensuring reliable video capture and storage.
- Implement and monitor AI-driven video analytics tools such as facial recognition, perimeter detection, and heat mapping to enhance security capabilities.
- Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of network and security systems to prevent failures and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support to IT staff and end-users, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, networks, and surveillance systems.
- Lead training sessions and create documentation to educate staff on new technology implementations and updated security policies.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure IT hardware, software, and security solutions aligned with company needs.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security protocols, and industry best practices to protect organizational data and assets.
- Monitor system performance and generate reports to identify trends and propose improvements to IT infrastructure and security operations.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation to maintain business continuity in case of system failures or security incidents.
