Lead I - Software Testing (Playwright)

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in system integration testing and test automation, specifically using Playwright. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset to evaluate complex systems, ensure quality through comprehensive testing, and collaborate effectively within an Agile team. This position is based in Hyderabad and has four openings available.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript to cover functional, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios. Create, maintain, and execute test suites that align with defined requirements to guarantee thorough test coverage. Document detailed test results and maintain comprehensive QA documentation to support transparency and traceability. Perform API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance using tools such as Postman and Swagger. Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to uphold quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating proactively with the team to ensure timely resolution. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, practices, and automation frameworks. Ensure adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and overall quality objectives.

Required Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to interpret data, identify issues, and implement corrective measures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy. Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman and Swagger. Proven expertise in Agile methodologies and data testing. Demonstrated test automation experience using Playwright with TypeScript. QA experience in software development environments that utilize C# and .NET technologies. Familiarity with version control and containerization tools such as GitHub and Docker.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is highly desirable. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integration processes will be an advantage. Test automation experience using C# with Selenium is preferred. Exposure to AI-based testing tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus. Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter is beneficial. Additional skills in BDD frameworks, Python, and testing with Agentic AI tools will be considered advantageous.
