We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Operator to oversee and coordinate daily operations within our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency while providing strong leadership and mentorship to team members. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor junior operators to enhance their skills and overall performance.
- Monitor equipment and systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot machinery and processes to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with management to implement policies, procedures, and best practices aimed at improving operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and employee activities.
- Assist in planning and executing maintenance schedules and downtime activities.
- Promote a culture of safety, open communication, and teamwork among all team members.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary.
- Actively participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Lead Operator or in a similar operational role.
- Proven experience within the relevant industry such as manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and systems specific to the role.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
