Job Summary:
The Hardware Supervisor’s role is to support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring its optimal performance. The individual will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required. Additionally, this person will supervise the work of Hardware Technician’s and provide support, mentoring, and training to these positions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelors in Computer Science with Hands-on hardware troubleshooting , and ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories .
- Can read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills and strong customer-service orientation and ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. Incumbent must have 3 to 4 year’s related experience.
