Job Summary:
The Laboratory Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the operations of the Clinical Laboratory at LNH including the outreach services centers of the Laboratory providing overall technical & administrative support, which includes evaluating need for equipment & negotiating service contracts, assisting for maintaining records for Quality audits and certification from regulatory bodies, ensure compliance with departmental quality & safety controls, review lab test rates & coordinate with concerned faculty members to introduce new lab investigations periodically based on patient needs, He / She will manage a team of 50 + staff and will have ongoing interaction with patients and their attendants in relation to them Labs test, and will be responsible to ensure timely delivery of test reports and resolving related issues.
Qualification & Experience:
MBA in Marketing/Health Care Management, Masters in Administrative Sciences or MSc in Medical Technology with at least 8 to 10 years related work experience at successively higher levels of management including at least 3 to 5 years at a supervisory / managerial level. Related experience in a health care organization will be an advantage.
Incumbent should have good leadership skills and vision for institutional growth opportunities, must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to lead and direct others to achieve organization goals. Work experience in a Quality certified organization will be an advantage.
