- Responsible to provide strong support to the Director’s on a day-to-day basis with the development and implementation of a growth strategy for the business.
- Lead the entire team with no biasness and all aspects of financial management.
- Enhance and implement fit for purpose financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems to support a growing agile retail business.
- Assist and direct the business to implement effective control processes to safeguard assets, maintain integrity in the accounts and financial reports and mitigate fraud potential.
- Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation.
- Analyze the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future.
- Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed.
- Supervise accounts officers and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, etc.
- Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants.
- Prepare, Update and implement financial policies and procedures, also maintain regular financial planning reports.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management and Retail Accounting functions.
- Advising and implementing best practice methods to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Advising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendations to the ELT
- Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
- Responsible to manager the financial matters to the Retail Outlet.
- Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organization and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
- Establish and implement a training program for new finance employees.
- Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards.
- Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information.
- Responsible for all the verbal queries and email & response on daily basis.
- In case of Tax Return and other assignments, all staff are liable to sit and do their part of work as instructed by department manager and Approved by the Directors.
- Any other task assigned by the department manager or directors.
