Responsibilities and Duties:
- Contact potential and existing customers to inform them about our products and services
- Cold call customers using a given phone directory to sell products
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
- Negotiate with leads and use persuasion techniques to overcome objections and landing deals that are beneficial to the company, while also providing customers with optimal value
- Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Keep records of calls and sales, record useful information accurately
- Lead Generation – Identify and reach out to potential customers through a variety of channels, such as email, phone, text, and social media.
- Creating invoices, submitting and processing orders to ensure customers receive their product on time
- Manage and resolve customer complaints, identify and escalate priority issue
- Ad-hoc task as required
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as telesales representative or similar sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Proficient in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook). Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Persistent and result oriented with a strong attention to detail
- Patient and able to handle rejection
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
