Job description
- Maintaining records of financial transactions
- Posting transactions on to Sage 50 Accounts software
- Ensure legal requirements compliance
- Producing regular financial statements and other reports for management
- Preparing cashflow forecasts and assisting in budgeting
- Preparation & submission of quarterly VAT returns in the UK and Germany
- Running payroll for employees and directors using Sage Instant Payroll software
- Maintaining pension schemes
- Preparation & submission of PAYE returns
- Paying supplier invoices and tracking bank accounts balances
- Assisting in preparation of external financial statements
- Posting adjusting journals to ensure correct balances in general ledger
Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant with experience in Sage (Preferred)/XERO/QuickBooks. Required Qualifications, experience and skills
- Minimum of 1-2 Year experience with UK Clients in a similar role
- ACCA Qualified
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Strong time management skills
- Interact professionally with all staff members
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational, written and verbal skills
- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Compliance oriented
Remuneration
We provide market competitive salary. It is possible to increase salary when 3 months probationary period is completed on performance basis.
