Responsibilities: -

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
PostgreSQL
Handling complex technical issues related to mobile app development & provide solutions to co-workers
Perform full QA testing and debugging
Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Identify and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with (outside) data sources and APIs

Skills: -

Expertise in designing flow and architecting mobile applications
Should have worked on both phone and tablet applications
Excellent knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL and Firebase
Understand the current systems through provided code and other abstractions
Be able to write state-of-the-art applications ranging from complex UIs to challenging middleware and backend components
Be able to quickly understand any domain-specific artifact, ask good questions for further understanding and then come up with intuitive ideas about solving the problem. Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
Be good at and appreciative of Research and Development in the problem domain as well as the Technology. Stay updated with new tools, technologies
Ability to consistently produce high quality work and meet tight deadlines to complete assignments on time
Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize
Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-device compatibility, general mobile development standards
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming
