We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and support client engagements. You will be responsible for the build, release, deployment, and configuration activities for our various projects.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned DevOps Engineer with experience on multiple implementation projects across different industries. Preference will be given to driven and proactive professionals with agile development experience.
Required skills
As a DevOps Engineer you must have the ability to work in a team, with collaboration providing more cross-functionality within the DevOps process
- Experience in AWS, Docker , Git version control system,Puppet, Chef, Ansible and/or Jenkins
- Solid shell scripting skills (sh, bash, sed, awk, ruby, python, perl, regex)
- Experienced with ROR programming language and deployment using capistrano
- Experience automating and streamlining build, test, and deployment phases for continuous integration
- Experience with automation testing tools (JMeter, Selenium)
- Strong experience in the administration of cloud-hosted environments on at least one popular cloud IAAS platform such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Experience with cloud platform services such as EC2, RDS, Cloudfront, S3 (in AWS case)
- At least 3 years’ experience building commercial Java EE web applications
- Good knowledge of server errors, load balancing and diagnostics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment against tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Interest in new technologies and willingness to learn
