We are looking for Software QA Testers
Job Summary
We are looking for software QA tester with hands on experience of working on an enterprise based solution. He/she will be working on offshore projects with our global clients.
Required Skills
· Create, review and execute detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases using systematic approaches and formal risk based testing techniques
· Review business requirements and technical documentation ensuring completeness, testability and utilize for test planning activities
· Estimate, plan and prioritize testing activities
· Identify, log, and process defects using defect management systems
· Good understanding and able to perform system administration and troubleshoot issues on both Windows and Linux based systems independently.
· Strong knowledge of Linux, shell scripts, Webservers, PostgreSQL including the configuration management, monitoring and TCP/IP protocols
· Working Knowledge of Powershell scripts
· Working Knowledge of Batch & Bash scripts
· Windows Installer Logging and Troubleshooting common installer issues
· Concept of private and public IP and troubleshooting common issues related to communication over http/https.
· Good understanding of Database Concepts (Specific to Postgres SQL will be a big plus)
· Working Knowledge of Dockers will also be a big plus
Other Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of experience
· Candidates should have good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Candidates should have good communication skills as client communication is expected.
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is highly desirable.
· Flexible in working hours [Will need overlap with US/Mexico time zones]
Education/Qualifications
BS or MS in computer sciences or equivalent
