We are seeking an experienced healthcare administration professional for a credentialing and data entry role. In this position, you would be responsible for maintaining provider credentialing information and ensuring we’re operating within compliance of local, state, and federal medical regulations. Training will be provided. You will also be responsible for data entry for imaging requisitions.
You will:
- Compile and maintain current data for all affiliated medical providers
- Ensure that all personnel and services adhere to facility and staff policies, department guidelines, and governmental regulations
- Maintain personal knowledge of and compliance with credentialing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
- Prepare materials for internal and external regulatory audits; participate in audits and regulatory interviews
- Verify the status of all State Medical Licenses, Board Certifications, OIG and SAM sanction reports
- Comply with all HIPAA and TJC rules and regulations
- What we are looking for:
- Masters in health science or a closely allied field. Exceptional candidate with bachelor's degree will be considered
- Experience in the healthcare industry or closer
- Excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to maintain effective relationships with providers, management, staff, and other organizational contacts
- Proficient navigating and effectively using various digital resources (MS Office, databases, internet, etc.)
- The company will train but looking for someone who is self-learner with available resources
