We are looking for Senior System Engineers with at least 2 years of experience who can work in a team environment to support the IT infrastructure and staff for CyberSecurity Incidence Response.
Essential Job Functions:
- Remediate/rebuild operating systems, Active Directory, DHCP, domain controllers, E-Mail, Fax, backups ,other enterprise features, network devices and systems , and supporting end users.
- Assist in the deployment of Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions
- Remediate persistent traces of malware/ransomware from identified systems
- Perform log collection on systems and network equipment
- Collect system forensic images and triage script datasets for analysis
- Supports building, patching, and maintaining the physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Network infrastructure and server design, implementation, and administration
- Performs hardware maintenance and upgrades
- Applies software patches and security updates
- Maintains server infrastructure including Rack server, blade server and virtual server environments.
- Experience with server backup processes
- Install and configure specialized software
- Apply software and operating system patches
- Manage user accounts, permissions, & passwords
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Cyber security tools and processes
- Troubleshooting for network issues (routing, switching) with Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Dell, Palo Alto hardware
- Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security products.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers.
- Experience with virtualization infrastructure on either Hyper-V or VMWare
- Fundamental knowledge on SAN and NAS storages
Soft Skills
- Effectively communicates project information to personnel having limited technical backgrounds
- Perform other tasks as directed by the client involving restoration and recovery of systems with the approval of counsel
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Travelling is required for this position.
