Job Description

Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control, and completion of the project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization. He/she should manage key client projects and major responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope, oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of the project and prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement projects
  • Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define tasks and required resources
  • Collect and manage project team
  • Manage project budget
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Prepare detailed project effort estimations
  • Utilize proper project management tools (e.g. JIRA) for all projects
  • Effectively communicate with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Allocate project resources with efficient resource management
  • Create a schedule and project timeline
  • Track deliverables
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Support, direct and train team whenever needed
  • Lead quality assurance
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Evaluate and assess result of project

Education & Experience

  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent or
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Proven working experience in software project management
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Proficiency in project management software techniques and tools (JIRA)
