Liftrank Media Ltd is looking for an experienced PHP/WordPress DEVELOPER. The ideal candidate will have following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
- Ensure HTML 5 , CSS,3 and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools
- Utilise backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API
- Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from the concept stage to delivery and post launch support
- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedules along with technical and process issues
- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
- Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
Qualification
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a similar relevant field
Experience
- Working experience as a PHP/WordPress developer for (3+) year(s)
Knowledge & Skills
- In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and WordPress PHP Framework, must have experience on building AMP based web based applications
- Hands on experience with MySQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
- Software testing
- MySQL profiling and query optimization
- Creative and efficient problem solver
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Code Commit
- Familiarity with AWS
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process
- Data mining, analysis and custom reports generation based on requirements
- Knowledge working of Web Socket
- Knowledge of VueJS/ ReactJS would be a plus
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- High end understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- The Candidate Should have a Strong Knowledge of WordPress
