Position: Software Engineer
Reports To: Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead
Job Summary
We are looking for an analytical and results-driven Software Engineer who will work with the team on web and desktop applications. The Developer will use his/her understanding of programming languages and tools to build new application as well as analyze existing codes, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifying, tracking, managing and resolving project issues
- Proactively disseminating project information to all stakeholders
- Deliver tasks within the specified time period
- Ensuring that the solution is of acceptable quality
- Unit Testing
- Performing the self-code review
- Managing the overall work plan to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget
- Keep up with new technologies and implement them in the work environment
Qualification, Experience and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Visual Studio as a .NET development environment.
- Proficient in working with the ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF, C# and VB.Net Desktop applications.
- Proficient in working with MS SQL Server.
- Hands on Experience in working with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
- Hands on Experience working with Java Script and Jquery.
- Hands-on experience of React JS is a bonus.
- Experience with Source control providers such as GIT, TFS, etc.
Other
- An excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
