Responsibilities:
Position Purpose:
To configure, enhance, troubleshoot and support our campus network infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Must be capable of handling, Configuring and troubleshoot Cisco routers, Multilayer switches such as 6509, 3650 and 3850. Expertise in handling Nexus is a plus.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols and inter VLAN routing
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/Fortigate/Palo-Alto Firewalls.
- Configure overall network security (firewall, IPS, DMZ, IPsec)
- Configure and troubleshoot Link aggregator (F5), Blue Coat (Packet shaper) and applications load balancer.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controller, wireless network authentication and security.
- Have complete knowledge of passive cabling and infrastructure.
- Experience of using Backups, Security, Remote Management software's, Network Monitoring Tools and Software
- Have strong knowledge of new technological platforms being used for network management.
- Ability to timely solve day to day network tasks and queries.

Technical Skills
- Excellent working knowledge of network hardware and protocols
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of configuring access control systems
- Good working knowledge of enterprise class network security systems and best practices
- Good documentation and drafting skills – cases, policies/procedures.

- Good organizational and prioritizing skills
- Good English communication skills
