Job Description

  • Preparing contracts of contractual staff (RA, TA and Projects) and coordination with department coordinators for necessary documentation.
  • Ensure employee information in the system is up to date for smooth payroll processing.
  • Responding to queries/ complaints/ requests regarding SAP, E-portal, HRMS, PeopleSoft (Zambeel), leaves and other issues from staff & faculty members in the best possible manner.
  • Verification of attendance and leave adjustments and posting the information in SAP
  • Coordinating with payroll to ensure correct processing of salaries.
  • Ensure existing benefits such as telephone, auto finance and advance salary facilities are managed in time and make efforts for continuous improvements
  • Counsel employees on employment law and the University’s employment policies and SOPs
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide ongoing coaching, support and advise to the employee on HR related issues
  • Assist in appraisals and performance management processes
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Train employees on HR systems and processes including new staff inductions
  • Other related task as assigned by Supervisor/Head of Department.
