  • To keep the labs, lab equipment, and offices clean.
  • Ensure a safe working environment; chemicals and equipment to be stored in their proper places and ensure that there is no clutter.
  • Wash student glassware and keep chalkboards clean.
  • Help in keeping stockroom clean and orderly.
  • Help in shifting of offices, transporting PCs between offices and ITSC.
  • Carrying documents to faculty offices or other LUMS offices.
  • Carrying chemicals and equipment between lab and central store as well as local purchasing of items from superstore.
  • Could be required to work weekends or past working hours on working days.
  • Keep normal working hours during teaching labs.
  • In general, he is expected to be a resource for running teaching labs and could be assigned to other personnel subject to approval by his supervisor.
