Position Purpose:
Assist and support in managing the University’s staffing needs by recruiting candidates to deliver well-matched and high talent employees.
Responsibilties:
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job sources i.e. LUMS Website/ Rozee.pk, Newspapers, Career portals etc.
- Schedule, organize and conduct interviews, written assessments and presentations using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Verify applicants' credentials, documents and carrying out reference checks.
- Prepare employee files and ensure all necessary documents and requirements are complete
- Respond to recruitment related queries
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify new recruitment sources for improving talent pools
- Prepare comparative statements
- Extend job offers and prepare employment contracts
- Manage hiring action on SAP for new joiners, contract extension, and data maintenanceOnboard new employees in order for them to become fully integrated. Organize and conduct orientation sessions for new joiners
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Promote University’s reputation as “best place to work”
- Assisting in organizing and managing HR events and activities
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by the supervisor
