 Position Purpose:

The Research Associate will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) – Dr. Mariam Chughtai and Research Team on all aspects of the research project. This project offers the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection. The RA will work with an engaged partner organization and PIs on a groundbreaking project on the beliefs and aspirations of the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Prepares source data for entry by compiling and organizing data; establishing priorities; resolving incomplete and unclear data
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Identifying, evaluating and implementing external services and tools to support data validation
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Overseeing data collection activities; ensuring adherence to data quality protocols, managing data quality audits and running high frequency checks
  • Maintaining detailed data collection and project logs
  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies. Keep information confidential
  • Regularly communicating updates and troubleshooting challenges with the Principal Investigators
