Responsibilities:
Software Developer positions are available in the Software Engineering Research Lab (SERL) at LUMS. The position is for an ICT-R&D funded project focusing on the design and development of a clone management tool suite to be used by the software development organizations. The tool will capitalize on the untapped potential of software similarities that abound in existing software systems, to increase efficiency in software development and reduce maintenance costs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in design and development of Software Requirement Specification and system architecture documents
- Develop and integrate the required software components by implementing the algorithms developed through research activities of the research team
- Design and develop user interfaces
- Assist in testing and evaluation of the system
- Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress
- Assist in timely preparation of project components, reports, and other deliverables
- Assist the PI/Co-PI and Team Lead in the smooth operation and successful completion of the project
Job Type/Duration: Full Time / 1 year contract (extendable to 2 years)
