Position Purpose:
To help with the record keeping, analysis, follow-ups for Student advising Unit
Main Responsibilities:
- Dissemination of information, monitoring and evaluation, collaboration with other departments for smooth work
- Develop, implement, and evaluate training workshops for advisors and advisees
- Develop programming, events and publications to raise awareness of support offered to students
- Build a strong internal system to track each student through their university career
- Supervising and managing the data management software.
- Ensuring that advising history is recorded accurately for every student
- Compiling, analyzing and reporting on findings from advising evaluations
- Highlighting and supporting vulnerable students, recognizing and facilitating top students
- Scheduling advising courses, appointments, workshops, trainings, etc.
- Resolving enrollment request after evaluating student progress (all 4 batches)
- Collaborating with OSA for students that need help with petitions, medical support, mental health support
- Building a strong internal system to track each student through their university career (google docs, personal files, recommendations)
- Preparing for new batch
- Orientation packages
- SAU orientation session
