Role Description
This requirement is for graphics designer to join our newly formed team reporting from Karachi, Pakistan. We are looking for an energetic, self-propelled App and User Experience Designer to join our creative team. In this position, an ideal candidate will be required to create everything from wireframes to pixel perfect mock ups. Primarily the candidate will be focusing on the design and user experience of our mobile applications, but will also participate in our online UX projects.
As a Graphic Designer at Luna technology, you will be responsible for the development and execution for wide-ranging design requests, including but not limited to internal and customer-facing projects exclusively for the Product Design Team. Initially the candidate will work on Pilot programs in small team setting and you will get a chance to show and excel creative skills. Later, the candidate will transition into the bigger team that creates and delivers world-class products with the responsibility to support creative endeavors.

Responsibilities
· Work directly with other designers on UX projects, on everything from wireframes to finished designs.
· Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices for web and mobile responsive layouts
· Take conceptual ideas and turn them into usable and valuable product features
· Design screen considering all resolutions and devices (Web / Mobile / Pads)
· Perform and present research, or other objective information to support design decisions
· Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (such as mobile vs desktop), and optimizing output to match the specific platform and handling Media Queries
· Work directly with and helping guide our in-house and remote app developers, to make sure final executions follow the mock ups, and helping ensure a successful, timely final product
· Work with designers and web developers to implement art assets into the targeted platform.
· Ability to transform words into visual concepts and designs.
· Candidate must demonstrate an advanced level of proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
· Ability to create rough sketches to help visually communicate an idea to the team.
· Must have a thorough understanding of mobile/web app production
· Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of visual trends pertaining to mobile app development
· Ability to take direction, work within deadlines, switch priorities on a dime, and have an eye for detail.
· Enjoys learning new software and solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
· Graphic Design experience up to 2 years.
· Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
· Proficiency in PowerPoint and/or Keynote.
· Designing for All Screen resolution.
· Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
· Elevated sense of typographical space and proportions.
· Pragmatic approach to design with a consistent output.
· Agility in a high-pressure environment with changing deadlines and multiple projects.
· Strong self-starter seeing projects from inception to resolution.
