International client is looking to invest in growing beauty (makeup, hair, nails) market of Pakistan. Client will be starting with Lahore and then rapidly expanding into other major cities throughout the country. Therefore, client is searching for a dependable and experienced Project/Startup Manager to help with the tasks associated with a startup business. Upon opening of the business, the Project Manager will transition into the Business Manager role and oversee the day to day operations of the salon.
Tasks will include but not limited to:
- Locating and gathering details of vacant properties in scoped areas where a high-class and International standard beauty salon can thrive
- Interviewing architects, gathering potential floor plans, and submitting them to the client for approval
- Finding and working with contractors (carpenters, electricians, painters, masonry craftsmen, laborers, etc.) to gather bids and submitting them to the client for approval
- Overseeing and supervising the construction for the salon throughout its entirety - until completion of salon
- Talent acquisition (posting vacancies for salon, interviewing qualified candidates, submitting paperwork to client for final selection)
- Finding and working with a reputable marketing agency (must run an aggressive advertising campaign) - gathering information and bids and submitting them to client for approval
- Other duties as assigned
