Job Description
M5 Groupe is engaged in various industries, from manufacturing to hospitality. The members of the M5 Groupe represent the various regions and nationalities enabling it to understand the local cultures and values where M5 operates. M5 Groupe is launching a new start-up in Pakistan called M5 Youniform Pvt Ltd and looking to hire a part/full time WooCommerce & WordPress Developer who is interested and passionate about the textile industry and eager to learn more. The position is based in Karachi with flexible working hours. Responsibilities:
• Building e-com site with Woo commerce platform.
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
• Manage both front-end and back-end development.
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality in web and app.
• Ensuring high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors in relevant degree from a reputed university.
• 2-3 years of experience in WordPress Development.
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Background in eCommerce (online marketing, SEO, analytics) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
Must have skills:
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Proficient at front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Advanced interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team.
