In this program coordinator position, you will work closely with the administrative and instructor team to manage company-wide programs and projects, ensuring that your project responsibilities are understood and deadlines are met. You will know the status of all projects and required next steps at all times and be able to report on project statuses on a daily basis. You will be responsible for managing admin/project meetings, agendas, minutes and deadlines. You should have a strong interest and skill set in project management, workflow, and be ready and able to improve company workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures.
This role will start as part-time and then transition to full time within the first month or so. It is important that you are available to work and troubleshoot issues during Eastern Standard Time working hours (8am-6pm EST). You will need to be available to work some hours between 8am-6pm EST but some of your work can be done in the hours that you choose.
Probation Period: Your work performance will be reviewed closely in each of your first few weeks of employment, starting in the first week of your work. Review will include written and/or verbal feedback from one or more of the admin team.
You will receive feedback from the admin team throughout your service with MakerState, especially in the first few weeks. If you are communicating well, asking questions about what you do not know or understand, and checking off your to-do’s on deadline, you’re doing well, keep it up. If you are not communicating about what you do not understand and are not meeting your deadlines, you will be receiving feedback on that too.
Pay–between $5 - $8/hour–is commensurate with experience.
